  • Ad longevity. How long the ad ran before being paused. Long-running ads tend to be the ones that converted at scale.
  • Platform breadth. Ads that ran on multiple placements (Meta feed + Stories + Reels) tend to be the ones the brand bet bigger on.
  • Niche relevance. The gallery is diversified across e-commerce, SaaS, lead-gen, and DTC consumer goods so you see what works in your category, not just one.

What makes a static ad worth studying

Three things to look at when you scroll the gallery:

  1. The hook (what the eye reads first). Notice how the winning hooks rarely lead with the product name or a feature. They lead with the buyer's inner monologue or a specific frustration.
  2. The visual treatment. Most winners use either product-in-context, before/after, or a customer face. Stock illustrations and generic AI imagery are noticeably absent.
  3. The pattern break. Each ad does something that interrupts the visual rhythm of a Meta feed. Lime accent on dark background, oversized typography, hand-written annotation overlays. The interrupt is the job.

How to write static ads like these
